This Privacy Policy explains how MobArts Ltd (“MobArts”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information in connection with the mobile application Plant Care: Watering Reminder (the “App”).

In short: Plant Care does not have user accounts and does not send your personal data to our servers. The plants, photos, notes, and reminders you create stay on your device and, if you enable iCloud, in your own private iCloud account — we have no access to that content. We use one privacy-focused analytics service to collect anonymous usage statistics that are not linked to your identity and are never used to track you.

1. Information You Create in the App

When you use the App, you may create content such as plant names, species, locations, care schedules, journal notes, and photos. This content is stored:

  • Locally on your device, and
  • In your private iCloud database, if iCloud sync is enabled on your device.

iCloud sync uses Apple’s CloudKit private database, which is tied to your personal Apple ID. This data is stored in your iCloud account, not on servers controlled by MobArts, and we cannot read, access, or retrieve it. Your use of iCloud is also subject to Apple’s Privacy Policy.

2. Notifications

The App schedules local reminders (for watering, fertilizing, and other care tasks) directly on your device. These notifications are generated on-device and are not sent through, or visible to, MobArts.

3. Photos

If you attach photos to your plants or journal, those images are stored on your device and in your private iCloud (if enabled). They are not uploaded to any server operated by MobArts. The App requests access to your photo library or camera only to let you add images you choose.

4. Purchases

Optional Pro features are sold through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. All payments and billing are handled by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment information. The App receives only your purchase/subscription status from Apple (via StoreKit) in order to unlock the features you have bought.

5. Anonymous Analytics

To understand how the App is used and to improve it, we use TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service operated by TelemetryDeck GmbH (Germany). TelemetryDeck collects only anonymous usage data, such as:

  • which features and screens are used (for example, when a plant is added or the upgrade screen is shown);
  • technical information like the App version, operating system version, device model, and language.

This data is not linked to your identity. TelemetryDeck does not use Apple’s advertising identifier (IDFA) and does not show the “Ask App to Track” prompt. Any device identifier used to group signals is processed into an anonymized, hashed value, so it cannot be traced back to you. We do not use this data to track you across other apps or websites. 6. Data We Do Not Collect

  • We do not require registration or accounts.
  • We do not use third-party advertising networks.
  • We do not track you across other apps or websites.
  • We do not collect data that personally identifies you.
  • We do not sell or share your personal data.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Because your content is stored on your device and in your own iCloud account, you are in control of it at all times:

  • Delete individual plants or entries within the App.
  • Delete the App to remove its local data from your device.
  • Manage or remove iCloud data via your device’s iCloud settings.

Anonymous analytics data cannot be tied to you and therefore cannot be individually retrieved or deleted; it is retained by TelemetryDeck only in aggregate, anonymized form.

8. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes become effective when the updated version is posted at this address.
